Jesus had a goal for us when He prayed one of His final prayers. These are the beautiful words He spoke to His Father, "I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one." He had a hope for us. That our faith and our lives would be ones in community, not in isolation or thinking we had to make it on our own. He prayed that we became such a strong support for each other, such good friends, so much that we became actually "one." At First Presbyterian Church we are there for each other. We are there for those seeking and looking for something that satisfies. We believe that life is rich when a person puts their trust and faith in Christ. We believe He alone has the power to change lives and melt hearts. Many of us have stories of great transformation, and having a church family to support and love us through joys and the trials of life means everything. We are here for you.
