All our programs at First Presbyterian Church are a success only because of the people who recognize the value of their time and talents. We often need assistance in the many areas we serve. Please check back often to this page and see what mission opportunities and service opportunities are upcoming. We would love to explore how we may serve together. A volunteer form is a click away (see below). Thank you!

Growing from serving 50 in 2011 to 250 in 2017, the Thanksgiving Day meal at First Presbyterian Church of Rutherford has become a tradition for the community. Days are spent preparing a feast for those looking for a hot meal and to spend time with others. The community comes together including the Boy Scouts and High School Students to donate food, service and love to participate in this special event. We are always in need of volunteers.
Please call the church office in October or early November if you would like to be a part of this endeavor.
